Join us to celebrate the African World Heritage Urban Fabrics on Wikipedia, the biggest online encyclopedia in the world ! To date, UNESCO has listed 25 African urban fabrics (cities and quarters) as World Heritage sites. However, out of 1000 monuments and significant buildings that are part of these sites, 70% do not have a Wikipedia article in English, and 59% do not have any article in any language. Every missing building is a missing part of the urban fabric’s genuine story. So let’s complete the 25 stories! |
